After four long years, the battle between Halle Berry and her ex, Gabriel Aubry, is finally over.
A judge ordered Berry to pay $16,000 a month in child support for their six-year old daughter, according to USA Today. She and Aubry, 38, ended their rocky relationship in 2011 but things are just now being squared away.
According to The Daily Mail, that is not all the actress has to dish out. Berry is ordered to pay her model ex $115,000 in retroactive expenses and tuition for her daughter’s schooling. She also has to cover Aubry’s legal fees, which total to $300,000.
The custody battle between the two turned ugly after Berry tried to move her daughter and now husband Oliver Martinez to France in 2012. A judge had since then blocked them from going.
In November of 2012, Aubry and Martinez were both involved in a physical altercation, which led to Aubry being arrested for starting the fight.
Berry and Martinez have an 8-month-old son together. Let’s hope for Berry’s sake that things work out between her and Martinez.
