The long anticipated third installment of The Hunger Games has finally released a teaser for the upcoming film.
The teaser, featuring Donald Sutherland as President Snow and Josh Hutcherson as Peeta Malark, may be a spoiler for fans who did not read the trilogy. The Hunger Games: Catching Fire ended with Katniss wondering where Peeta was once she escaped the games. The new teaser shows that Peeta is in the clutches of Panem's President Snow says Telegraph.
The Hunger Games trilogy officially wrapped filming on June 21. The trilogy began filming back in 2011, with the first movie coming out in 2012. Cast member Sam Claflin, who plays Finnick, tweeted, "I just want/need to express my many thanks to everyone (cast, crew & fans) who have worked so hard for so long to make The Hunger Games experience what it is. But for also trusting me enough to let me be part of it. I feel privileged, honoured and so very lucky to have shared this opportunity with so many passionate & talented people. #dreamjob @TheHungerGames @lionsgatemovies x."
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay has been broken up into two parts, much like the final Twilight and Harry Potter installments. Mockingjay is the final book in The Hunger Games trilogy.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay-Part One is set to be released on November 21, 2014. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay-Part Two will be released almost a year later on November 20, 2015.
