Forty-five new photos of the Star Wars VII set have been circulating the Internet.
The photos, originally posted by TMZ, include a dino-rhino-like alien and intriguing foreign architecture.
Star Wars’ filming in the deserts of Abu Dhabi has raised suspicion that Planet Tatooine will be one of the settings of the new film.
The pictures do not contain any spoilers, as most of them are extras and behind-the-scenes type shots.
Here’s a YouTube video running through the crazed images.
These photos are the tiniest of a glimpse of what Episode VII has in store. They began filming on May 13.
Star Wars VII is being directed by acclaimed director J. J. Abrams. His success with the Star Trek movies deemed him a good choice to continue on the intergalactic legacy. Abrams also had success with his unprecedented Super 8.
Abrams is also among the producers of Episode VII, along with Bryan Burk and Kathleen Kennedy.
Lupita Nyong’o, of 12 Years a Slave, and Gwendoline Christie, of Game of Thrones, are the most recent to sign onto the mind-blowing cast.
“I could not be more excited about Lupita and Gwendoline joining the cast of Episode VII,” producer and president of Lucasfilm Kathleen Kennedy said on the Star Wars official website, according to the Business Standard.
Lupita and Gwendoline are joining the likes of Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac, John Boyega, Andy Serkis and more. The cast also includes members of the original trilogy; Mark Hamill, Harrison Ford and Carrie Fisher.
Star Wars Episode VII is set for release in December 2015.
