Actor, James Russo will be co-staring along side Johnny Depp again in the upcoming Scott Cooper-directed Whitey Bulger biopic Black Mass.
Russo and Depp most recently worked together on Public Enemies, but in Black Mass the actors will be playing on the opposite sides of the law, TheWrap reported.
Russo will be playing FBI agent Scott Garriola who was well known for being the agent that took down Bulger, one of the most notorious mob bosses in Boston.
Garriola lead the FBI's fugitive task force in Los Angeles when the agency found Bulger and arrested him. At the time of his arrest, Bulger was already 80-years-old.
Copper, who is known for directing Out of the Furance and Crazy Heart, will be working with Russo and Depp on this film. This marks the fourth time they have acted together. They have also starred in Donnie Brasco, The Ninth Gate and Public Enemies.
As previously reported, the film will also star Joel Edgerton, Adam Scott, Dakota Johnson, Corey Stoll and Benedict Cumberbatch.
Cumberbatch will be playing Bulger's brother, Billy Bulger, in the film.
