Joan Rivers has revealed she’s being sued by Kristen Stewart for a joke she made about the actress in her book Diary of a Mad Diva, which doesn’t even become available until next month.
The joke was about Stewart’s 2012 affair with her then-married Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders, while she was still dating Robert Pattinson.
"Many stars only do one thing well. Of course, the best one-trick-pony is Kristen Stewart, who got a whole career by being able to juggle a director's balls,” Rivers wrote. The Fashion Police star’s rep confirmed to E! News that she was contacted by Stewart’s lawyer, but notes she needs “thicker skin.”
"Kristen needs to calm down and have a thicker skin, and she should be glad she's not a Kardashian,” said Rivers. “Kristen is adorable and the fact that I mentioned her means she's an A-list celebrity."
Rivers is showing she isn’t exactly rattled that Stewart’s lawyer contacted her, telling TMZ, “I can't wait to get her into court because I'm gonna get a puppet and I want her to show me on the puppet where she thinks I claim she touched her director. I am looking forward to it."
