Now that is dedication! R&B/soul artist Robin Thicke is literally dedicating his album to his estranged wife, actress Paula Patton.
According to MTV, Thicke’s new album is called Paula. It comes one year after the release of his No. 1 album Blurred Lines. The album’s lead single is the same name, as it was the world’s biggest song in 2013.
Thicke began dating Patton when he was 14. They later got married and welcomed their first child in 2010. After nine years of marriage, Patton announced her separation from the “Lost Without U” crooner in February.
Since then, Thicke embarked on a journey to win the Precious actress back. Right after the split, he told TMZ “I’m just trying to get her back.”
During his tour, he chanted “I gotta get my woman back y’all” to his thousands of fans before singing his song “Lost Without U." He later hit the 2014 Billboard Music Awards stage with his new single “Get Her Back."
BET announced that Thicke has been added to the 2014 BET Awards’ performers roster.
