Top 10 Best and worst Katy Perry tour costumes

If you're going to a Katy Perry tour, you know to expect a musical night of wild colors and entertainment. Another thing to expect is Perry in some wild costumes.

Perry first kicked off her Hello Katy Tour, in support of her second studio album One of the Boys, in 2009. The tour visited North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia. She then went on the California Dreams Tour, in support of her third studio album Teenage Dream. The tour visited Europe, Oceania, Asia, North America, and South America.

She kicked off the Prismatic World Tour on May 7, 2014, in support of her fourth studio album, Prism. In the first leg of her tour, Perry visited Belfast, Northern Ireland at the Odyssey Arena, and included performances in Scotland and England. From June to October 2014, the second leg will take place in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. The third and fourth leg will take place in Oceania and Europe.

A portion of the money generated from tickets for the second leg of the Prismatic World Tour will go to UNICEF, Autism Speaks, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, and Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Here are the top 10 best and worst Katy Perry tour costumes.

10. Best: Pink Trench Coat

In her Prismatic World Tour, Perry wore a pink trench coat with what appears to be a bodysuit underneath. The patterns and colors on the bodysuit was a great contrast to the hot pink trench coat.

[new page=Cat Suit]

8. Worst: Cat Suit

On her California Dreams tour, Perry wore this cat suit. With the theme of the show and the colorful wardrobe, this black suit doesn't seem to fit, and is also not that flattering.

8. Best: Red and White Striped Gown

On her California Dreams tour, Perry looked stunning in this red and white stripped gown. Subtle, yet dazzling.

7. Worst: Silver Gown

Another outfit that just didn't fit with the rest of the theme for her California dreams tour in this big silver gown. It looks more like someone just threw a curtain on her. Not a great outfit.

6. Best: Lollipop Dress

This cute mini lollipop dress from her California Dreams tour is just the right amount of fun to go with the rest of her show.

5. Worst: Peace & Smile outfit

Where to start in this Prismatic tour costume? The smiley face bra? The peace sign pants? The black and yellow sneakers to match? Not a good outfit, but I will take one of those smiley face jackets!

[new page=Bubblegum Drops]

4. Best: Bubblegum Drop Suit

Continuing her theme of fun outfits in her California Dreams tour, Perry wore a body suit with what appears to be bubblegum drops all over it. It's cute and fun, especially with the blue hair.

[new page=Going Green]

3. Worst: Neon Green Leaf Outfit

This outfit from her Prismatic tour had some good things going for it, but it quickly fell apart with all of the neon colors and knee high neon green stockings. It was a good idea, but the color scheme is just off.

2. Best: Blue Peacock

This blue bodysuit with feather detail from her California Dreams tour was stunning. With her background dancers there to provide more feathers to create a peacock-like illusion, Perry looked amazing and not too over the top.

[new page=The Worst]

1. Worst: Animated Bodysuit

Remember that pink trench coat from her Prismatic tour, well this is what was underneath. It looked great when we just got a taste of it, but as a whole suit, it takes over her body. It's hard to focus on the show and singing when you have this staring you in the face.
