Top 10 Celebrity Feuds

Hollywood may be a lot of things, but it is anything but quiet.

Celebrities are once again showing the world that they are in fact only human. From major breakdowns, to fist fights, to name calling and twitter rampages, when there’s a celebrity feud, the whole world knows about it.

Rihanna and girl group TLC have most recently gone at it after the girls slam Rih Rih for her nudity. The feud between Rosie O’Donald and Donald Trump has been never ending, and who can forget the Twitter war between Amanda Bynes and well, everyone! When they’re not fighting the paparazzi, they’re fighting each other.

As per usual, there has been no shortage to the hollywood drama. Here is a top 10 list of celebrity feuds in no particular order. Favorite feud didn’t make the list? Feel free to comment and add them below!

10. Jimmy Kimmel vs. Kanye West

Jimmy Kimmel is known today for his epic video submissions of kids being pranked by their parents on christmas and Halloween. But, in 2013 Kanye West didn’t find Kimmel’s spoof of Kanye’s interview for BBC particularly funny. The rapper went on a complete twitter rant when he tweeted the late-night host in all caps saying that Kimmel’s ex was 1000 times funnier than he was and that the whole world knew it. He demanded an apology from kimmel, but later the two squashed the feud on his live show.

9. Kim Kardashian vs. Katie Couric

Last summer things got awkward between Kim Kardashian and Katie Couric when a reporter asked Couric about the Kardashian phenomenon and she responded saying that she didn’t understand why they were so famous and that it must mostly be teens who watch them. Kardashian fired back with a picture of the gift Couric sent to her and fiance Kanye West for new born baby North hash tagging “#IHateFakeMediaFriends and #MayIHumblySuggestYouNotSendGiftsThenTalkSh--t.” Couric later responded with a statement to E! saying, "I was responding to a reporter's question, and explaining how I'm intrigued by the public's fascination with her family. I didn't mean to hurt her feelings. The gift is genuine, and I'm happy for Kim and Kanye.”

8. Sinead O’Connor vs. Miley Cyrus

After Sinead O’Connor wrote an open letter to Miley Cyrus with a word of caution about allowing herself to be “pimped” by the music industry, things got ugly really quickly. Cyrus fired back by mocking O’Connors mental health issues by using tweets the singer had written two years prior and comparing her to Amanda Bynes, who has also dealt with issues of her own. O’Connor then wrote a second letter stating that Cyrus used tweets from when she was unwell and seeking help without saying that they were taken from tweets two years ago. O’Connor continued by saying how stupid and dangerous it is to mock people with mental health issues. The feud continued between the two singers until O’Connor threatened with legal action unless Cyrus apologized.

7. Chris Brown vs. Drake

Famous or not, fighting over anyone never ends well. In 2012, singers Chris Brown and Drake got into a brawl at a NYC night club over Rihanna. According to various reports, Brown send a bottle of champagne over to Drake at the club. Soon after the “Take Care” singer and his crowed went over to Brown and started an argument over Rihanna which led to Drake punching Brown in the face and hitting him over the head with a bottle. Brown later took to twitter to post a picture of a gash on his chin from the fight along with tweets directed at drake specifically regarding him throwing bottles. He deleted the tweets soon after, but the feud between the two has yet to simmer down.

6. Mariah Carey vs. Nicki Minaj

On season 12 of American Idol judges Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj had no trouble expressing their disliking toward one another. Prior to the premiere of the season, a video surfaced of a heated exchange between the two judges during auditions in which Minaj could be heard saying that she would not be putting up with “her highness.” The singers continued to bicker on live television clearly making things uncomfortable for the other judges on the panel. The feud continued over time with Carey telling 97.1 in New york that it was like going to work with Satan. Neither judge returned for the next season.

5. Kelly Osbourne vs. Christina Aguilera

It’s never been a secret that Kelly Osbourne and Christina Aguilera had very negative views of one another. The feud between the two went on for years. Things really ignited when Osbourne called Aguilera a fat b--ch on Fashion Police claiming that Aguilera called her fat for years so now she’s returning the comment saying she’s fat too. The fight simmered down in 2012 when Osbourne went on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen she was asked to say three nice things about Aguilera in which she responded that she was looking way better now, she has a great voice and a beautiful son.

4. Mariah Carey vs. Eminem

Again for the second time on the list, Mariah Carey has clearly had her set of battles. Her feud with rapper eminem was more on the lyrical side this time however. Eminem wrote several songs referring to his relationship with the songstress, but she continued to deny any at all. After Carey released her single, “Obsessed” in which she herself dressed as a male stalker with a similar appearance to eminem and follows herself around throughout the video, Eminem retaliated against the singer and her husband, Nick Cannon with his own song titled “The Warning.” The song contained voicemails that Carey allegedly left the rapper while they were together.

3. Taylor Swift vs. Kanye West

In 2009 Kanye West took to the stage to interrupt Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech at the MTV video music awards to express his disapproval that Beyonce did not win stating that Beyonce had the best video of all time. “I’m gonna let you finish,” the infamous speech began. After major backlash, the rapper said a heartfelt apology on the Jay Leno show and also apologized to Swift on his blog. The country singer wrote a song about the incident which she performed at the awards show the following year.

2. Charlie Sheen vs. Chuck Lorre

One of the biggest feuds known to hollywood was between Charlie Sheen and his former Two and a Half Men boss, Chuck Lorre. After being fired from the show following his stint in rehab and getting into a dispute with Lorre, Sheen went on a public rant about Lorre and planned to sue Warner Bros. for firing him. Sheen was later replaced on the show with Ashton Kutcher and has since started his own show Anger Management.

1. Solange vs. Jay Z

Although no one knows exactly what was said in the heated video leaked of Beyonce’s sister Solange hitting Jay Z on an elevator at the Met Gala this year, one thing that remained a question was why Beyonce did not defend her husband during the attack. In the video, Solange is physically hitting the rapper while Beyonce stood aside. Jay Z grabbed her foot as the kicked her heels at him until she was finally being held by a bigger man that was presumed to be a security guard. Although rumors are continuing to swirl about the reasons for Solange’s elevator outburst, the family has since issued a statement saying that like all families, they have worked out the issues.
