Jennifer Garner is an actress best known for playing CIA Agent Sydney Bristow in the television show Alias and being in movies such as 13 Going On 30 and Elektra. She is married to actor Ben Affleck, who she met on the set of Pearl Harbor, and they have three children together named Violet, Seraphina, and Sam.

Recently, it was announced that Garner would be receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2014 for her work in films. This is quite an honor for Hollywood stars and as we congratulate Garner for her achievements, we look back at some of the film roles Garner has been a part of.

In this film, the setting is a world where no one can tell a lie, except for a man named Mark, played by actor, Ricky Gervais. Garner plays the love interest, Anna, who is not attracted to him both because of his unattractive features and the fact that he not financially successful. Eventually, Mark figures out he can tell lies. The clip below shows a scene where Anna accepts a call from her mother during a date and reveals what she really thinks of Mark.

In this 2003 film, Garner plays the love interest to Ben Affleck’s Matt Murdock, who is secretly the superhero, Daredevil. While the film didn’t have many glowing reviews, there was chemistry between the two from the start, as seen in this short clip below.
