Just in light of the 2014 World Cup, the forward for Spanish club Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo, suffered a severe leg injury. Furthermore, a Ghanaian witch doctor says that he is responsible.
The doctor, known as “The Devil of Wednesday”, claimed he has been working on Ronaldo for some time, reported The Guardian. “I said it four months ago that I will work on Cristiano Ronaldo seriously and rule him out of the World Cup or at least prevent him from playing against Ghana,” said the witch doctor.
According to Sportive 23, the doctor said back in December 2013 that he would injure Ronaldo seriously, and prevent him from playing in the World Cup.
Ronaldo was supposed to join his team to play against Ghana on June 26, however his injury may prevent him from doing so. Ronaldo was diagnosed with tendonitis in his knee. He returned to training on Tuesday to build up his fitness. ESPN reported that Ronaldo seems to be making progress.
The 2014 FIFI World Cup is set to take place in Brazil on June 12.
