Dakota Johnson lands next role following 'Fifty Shades of Grey'

Dakota Johnson became a household name overnight when she landed the lead role in Fifty Shades of Grey. She will be playing Anastasia Steele in the film, which is set to be released on Feb 13, 2015. Johnson has already lined up her next role. She will be playing the lead role in the upcoming Forever, Interrupted.

Variety reported that Amy Baer will be producing the upcoming film, which his being described as a romantic drama. Baer will be moving forward with the project through her Gidden Media banner. Johnson will not only be acting in the film but will be serving as an executive producer along with Nathan Kahane, Joe Drake, John Middleton and Roy Lee.

Forever, Interrupted will tell the story of a young woman who elopes after a quick romance. Johnson's character must face the sudden death of her husband while working through an unlikely and strange relationship that is developing with her mother.

Entertainmentwise added that this will be an adaptation of Forever, Interrupted: A Novel by Taylor Jenkins Reid.
