By Ricky Yandoli,

Derrick Rose has officially returned to the basketball court to practice with team USA. It has been well documented Rose has struggled with injuries the past couple of years.

Last season, he missed 72 games and, during the 2012-2013 season, he missed the entire NBA season. Rose has taken some heat from the people in Chicago because they have said he is taking too long to return, as reported by ESPN.

The kid from Chicago is not worried about what people are saying. He is confident in his own abilities and is ready to show what he has to offer.

In a documented statement, Rose said, “Now my confidence is crazy. I know how hard I worked, and I believe I'm one of the hardest workers in the league."

USA head coach Mike Krzyzewski is impressed with what Rose has done so far. He says the Chicago Bulls’ point guard looks better than ever.

"I was ecstatic about watching him today," Krzyzewski said. "He's better than four years ago."

Now that the latest news is Rose has returned to action with team USA, Bulls fans can get a sneak peek of what is to come during the 2014-2015 season.

For his career, the 2011 MVP is averaging 15.9 points per game, 3.2 rebounds, and 4.2 assists, according to NBA.com.
