Freddie Prinze Jr. blames acting hiatus on Keifer Sutherland: He was the 'most unprofessional dude in the world' on '24' set

Freddie Prinze Jr. was a ‘90s darling, starring in films like She’s All That and Summer Catch, along with the I Know What You Did Last Summer films. However, he dropped off the radar years ago, and he’s now blaming it on fellow actor Keifer Sutherland.

Prinze Jr., who’s married to Sarah Michelle Gellar with two kids, shared that Sutherland was “unprofessional” on the set of 24. That put a sour taste in his mouth when it comes to acting.

"I did 24, it was terrible. I hated every moment of it," he told ABC News. "Kiefer was the most unprofessional dude in the world. That's not me talking trash, I'd say it to his face, I think everyone that's worked with him has said that."

He added, "I just wanted to quit the business after that. So, I just sort of stopped."

Prinze Jr. is still acting, however, as he was at Comic-Con to promote the Disney XD series Star Wars Rebels. He also made some guest appearances on shows like Bones and Witches of East End.
