The popular boy band ‘One Direction’ may soon be going in different directions. Harry Styles, the group’s most popular member, is reportedly taking steps to continue his career, but without the rest of the band.
The 20-year-old superstar denies the rumors, but according to the Daily Mail, Styles instructed accountant Alan McEvoy to set up a company called HSA Publishing Ltd. with just himself and McEvoy as directors.
Coincidence? Maybe not. McEvoy is the same accountant who set up the company 1D Media Limited in 2010 with the whole band as directors. Now, why would Styles need two companies? Unless he was really taking steps to going solo.
This comes just months after the world saw shocking footage of Directioners Zayn and Louis smoking what looked to be marijuana. According to Metro, Styles was very furious with his band mates, calling their behavior “reckless and stupid.”
Could this have been the final straw for Harry to want to separate himself from the group? Only time will tell.
