Jason Aldean’s single "Burnin’ It Down" has hit the charts, bumping Magic!’s "Rude" from the number one spot.
Aldean entered the country music industry in 2005 with Broken Bow Records, releasing a total of 16 singles and five studio albums, Jason Aldean, Relentless, Wide Open, My Kinda Party, and Night Train, over the course of his career.
The singer, who headlined at this year's Stagecoach, released his newest single, "Burnin’ It Down," which is the first taste fans have gotten of his upcoming album. The single hit the Nielsen SoundScan charts with more than 184,000 downloads, ultimately moving the hit song "Rude" out of the number one spot on the Billboard Digital Songs Chart, reports USA Today.
According to Music Times, Sam Smith’s "Stay With Me," Iggy Azalea’s "Fancy," and Maroon 5’s "Maps" have struggled on the charts this week, while "Burnin’ It Down" managed to hold its place.
Aldean’s sixth studio album, which will include "Burnin’ It Down," has yet to be named but is rumored to be released by the end of this year.
