Buffy has been brought back from the dead! No, this is not drill. Or a spoiler (well, sort of). Years after the teenage heroine bagged her last vamp, show creator Joss Whedon has brought the stylish character back from the dead. On a napkin.
On July 5, a fan of Buffy the Vampire Slayer whose Twitter handle is @thoughtotter asked Joss Whedon through Twitter to create “More Buffy the Vampire Slayer please” as a joke. The Avengers: Age of Ultron director granted the wish, but instead of reassembling Sarah Michelle Gellar or Alyson Hannigan back in Sunnydale, he tweeted back a drawing of Buffy doing what she does best.
In the picture, Whedon hits on numerous Buffy the Vampire Slayer cornerstones, pointing out the angst, puns and general excellent 90s fashion that the show became known for.
Along with being a Twitter genie, Joss Whedon has produced a movie version of Much Ado About Nothing, along with Dollhouse and Firefly, according to TV Guide.
Here is part of the Tweet chain:
