Lana Del Rey is not afraid to whip out a brutal slice of honesty. She did just that again in Complex magazine's August/September issue.
Us Weekly reports that Del Rey was commenting on her track, “F---ed My Way Up to the Top,” and despite its namesake, it is far from the truth.
"It's commentary, like, 'I know what you think of me,' and I'm alluding to that. You know, I have slept with a lot of guys in the industry, but none of them helped me get my record deals. Which is annoying,” the singer, 29, told the magazine.
Del Ray went on to say, “I am a little f---ed up. This whole experience has f---ed me up,” when discussing her struggle with depression which led to her brief Twitter exchange with Frances Bean Cobain when the star admitted she wished she were dead.
The future for Del Rey’s relationships are unclear as she remarked that what she looks for is a physical love.
“I like a physical love," she told the magazine. "I like a hands-on love… How can I say this without getting into too much trouble? I like a tangible, passionate love. For me, if it isn't physical, I'm not interested."
