How Rude! Canadian band MAGIC! ended rapper Iggy Azalea’s seven weeks domination of the Billboard Hot 100 “Fancy” featuring Charlie XCX.
MAGIC!'s debut single “Rude” made them the first band since Fun. to reach the top with the first single. Fun. began their six weeks at the top back in March 2012 with “We Are Young.”
Iggy still holds the No. 2 and 3 spot. “Fancy” slid down to No. 2 and she’s featured on the No. 3 song in the country, Ariana Grande’s “Problem.”
Iggy and Charlie still made gains with other songs on the chart, though. Iggy’s "Black Widow" featuring Rita Ora jumped from No. 97 to 65, while Charlie XCX’s “Boom Clap” reached No. 16, Headline Planet reports.
At No. 4 is “Am I Wrong” by Nico and Vinz, which is stationed above Sam Smith’s soul/pop ballad “Stay With Me.” Smith joins Iggy with having two titles in the top as Disclosure's "Latch," which he is featured on, reached the Top 10 at No. 10.
According to Billboard, the rest of the top 10 contains the same songs as the previous week. Jason Derulo’s “Wiggle” is No. 6; John Legend's “All Of Me” is No. 7; Maroon 5’s “Maps” is no. 8 and “Summer” by Calvin Harris came in at No. 9.
