HBO announced new additions to the Game of Thrones cast on Friday at Comic Con, including several of Oberyn Martell's family.
Next season Prince Oberyn's brother Lord Doran Martell will appear and is played by Alexander Siddig. Doran is described as more calm than Oberyn and the whole of Dorne is curious to see his next move following his brother's death. His son, Trystane Martell, who is betrothed to Myrcella Baratheon, will be played by Toby Sebastian.
Myrcella, who now finds her place in Dorne tenuous at best since the ruler of Dorne's brother was killed, will be played by Nell Tiger Free. She too is really the daughter of Cersei and Jamie Lannister, not the late King Robert Baratheon.
DeObia Oparei has been cast as the long-serving palace guard captain in Dorne, Areo Hotah. His weapon of choice is the longaxe.
Prince Oberyn's bastard daughters also will appear, with Jessica Henwick cast to play Nymeria Sand, his second oldest, who loves the whip. Tyene Sand will be played by Rosabell Laurenti Sellers, who excels with twin daggers. Keisha Castle-Hughes will play Obara Sand, who is the eldest bastard daughter.
Jonathan Pryce (Pirates of the Caribbean is also joining the cast as the High Sparrow, who came to King's Landing seeking to help those passed over and in doing so now has a large following.
And finally, Enzo Cilento will play Yezzan, who was once a wealthy slave trader before Daenerys Targaryen came along and outlawed slavery.
