Former Pussycat Doll and X Factor judge Nicole Scherzinger is preparing to launch her latest single on July 13. The single, "Your Love," will be her first following "Right There" and "Don't Hold Your Breath."
While promoting her latest single, Scherzinger, 36, explained that she feels a special connection with her gay fans and is delighted to be able to perform for them. In a recent interview with Gay Times, she said that she thinks this special connection is because of her increased vulnerability, Entertainment Wise reported.
"I think that as strong and empowering as we are, we're very vulnerable too. Men and women in the gay community just have a more understanding and empathetic heart, and at the same time, an empowering and encouraging, triumphant heart to come out of that," said Scherzinger.
The "Right There" singer went on to say that she really comes alive as a performer when she is singing for the gay community. "I think in a gay club everything is always better, because you just feel the acceptance and the love," Scherzinger detailed.
Scherzinger has been known to do all it in the entertainment industry, including, singing, dancing and staring on TV, but her focus has now returned to music with her new single dropping later this month.
The former Pussycat Doll also explained that she was happy being a judge on X Factor, because she was able to show the world more of her personality. However, she adds that it feels right to move on and is now able to focus on music, The Guardian reported.
