This year may have seen the first ever U.S. iTunes Festival at SXSW, but that doesn’t mean that Apple is abandoning the London festivities. The 2014 iTunes Festival in London will be headlined by A-list acts from Maroon 5 and Pharrell Williams to Blondie and Robert Plant.
Apple announced the lineup on Monday. The other performers are Beck, Sam Smith, Kylie, David Guetta, 5 Seconds of Summer, Calvin Harris, Chrissie Hynde, Kasabian, Kiesza and Jungle.
This will continue a big year for Williams, who has been performing “Happy” everywhere he goes. As for Maroon 5, their performance is timed with the release of their new album, V. Smith has also recently scored hits with his first album, In The Lonely Hour.
The 2014 event will mark the eighth year of the festival. As MacWorld notes, the tickets are free, but you do have to enter ballots on iTunes. There are also contests run by the London Evening Standard and other U.K. media outlets.
Apple also plans on streaming performances on apps for iPhone, iPad, iTunes and Apple TV, in case you can’t make it.
The full lineup will be announced closer to September. Beck will be opening the festival on Sept. 2, with Guetta performing the next day. Past festivals have included as many as 60 acts performing throughout the month.
