Rita Ora reveals that she needed the help of an earpiece to remember her lines on the set of Fifty Shades of Grey.
Last week's release of the official Fifty Shades of Grey trailer sent fans spinning. The trailer does not provide Rita Ora, who plays Christian Grey's sister, with enough screen time to show her acting abilities.
The 23 year-old British pop singer was undoubtedly the envy of young Hollywood when she scored a role in the film adaptation of the romantic novel, set to release February 2015. That being said, the musician is admittedly out of her element on the film set.
In an interview with Access Hollywood, she admitted that she had to have her lines read to her through an earpiece in order to remember them during filming. Between tackling an American accent and delivering her lines, Ora admits, “I was honestly like so nervous I forgot everything I had learned.”
According to The Mirror, Ora also received acting advice from the film's leading lady Dakota Johnson, who plays Anastasia Steele, aka Mr. Grey's love interest.
Despite the singer's difficulty delivering scripted lines, she remains charismatic and engaging on camera in her interview with Access Hollywood. Ora expresses, “I think the actors are phenomenal and I’m just kind of honored to be on the same wavelength as them.”
