Uma Thurman has been tapped to join the cast, which features the likes of Jamie Dornan and Bradley Cooper, of The Weinstein Co. film Adam Jones.
The film was previously known as Chef, but since there was a recent film with the same name from Jon Favreau, a name change was expected. Apparently, the studio decided on the incredibly weak Adam Jones for a new title.
The film follows Cooper, who plays a brilliant chef who creates culinary explosions of flavor and desperately wants to earn a third Michelin star for his restaurant, according to The Hollywood Reporter. In order to do it, he decides to bring in the best talent he can.
It isn't known what role Thurman, who most recently appeared in Nymphomaniac and Playing for Keeps, will play yet, but she joins quite a large cast, which includes Daniel Bruhl, Emma Thompson, Omar Sy, Dornan and others. Bradley is in the lead role, with Sienna Miller on board to star opposite.
John Wells is set to direct Adam Jones, which just began principal photography and is looking to film in New Orleans and London.
