Woman who argued with Adam Richman is happy with Travel Channel's decision to pull new show

By Daniel S Levine,

Amber Sarah, one of the women who engaged in an Instagram argument with Travel Channel host Adam Richman, has spoken out since his new Man Finds Food show was pulled from the network’s schedule.

In an interview with TMZ, Sarah said that she was happy that the show did end up getting pulled. However, she wants Richman to do more, including doing charity walks with groups that promote awareness of eating disorders.

Sarah, who told TMZ that she is a “fat activist who is fat,” said that she would also like to take a picture with Richman during one of the walks.

As previously reported, Richman used the hashtag “#thinspiration” while boasting about his weight loss before Man Finds Food was set to premiere. That word is offensive to many who deal with eating disorders, so Sarah and others called him out on it. Rather than apologizing, he went on an expletive-laced rant, responding to people who criticized him.

Richman eventually sent an apology to Good Morning America, calling his comments “inexcusable.” However, his new show has not been rescheduled and there’s no word on when or if it might air.
