Casey Kasem's body may be moved to Europe

The topic of the late Casey Kasem’s body continues as reports indicate Kasem’s wife Jean Kasem is attempting to move his body across the ocean.

Casey Kasem, host of the radio show American Top 40, passed away at the age of 82 on June 15 while battling dementia. Following his death, a battle began between Kasem’s widow and his three children that is still ongoing.

CBS News reports that a publicist for the daughter of Casey Kasem said that the three children are working with law enforcement on their next step as reports that Jean Kasem plans to move Casey Kasem’s body to Europe surface.

TMZ reports that Kasem’s body is currently in a funeral home in Montreal two months following his passing in Washington. Yet where in Europe does Kasem’s wife plan to take the body? Possibly Oslo, Norway says sources. The Santa Monica Police Department still would like a full autopsy done, which has yet to be fulfilled. The children are hoping to keep the body in Canada until an autopsy can be performed.
