Disney announced Thursday that they will continue to pay tribute to Robin Williams by playing Aladdin across its networks over the weekend.
Disney will be showing Aladdin across its three cable networks, which include Disney Channel, Disney XD and Disney Junior, Deadline reports.
The beloved actor voiced one of Disney’s most popular characters, playing Genie in the 1992 movie, which also featured the voices of Scott Weinger and Linda Larkin.
Many channels in Europe have also planned to air Williams’ movies this weekend to honor his work and impact on the entertainment world, The Hollywood Reporter noted.
Williams was found dead in his home Monday of an apparent suicide after battling depression and substance abuse throughout his career. His widow, Susan Schneider, revealed that the actor was also battling early stages of Parkinson’s disease at his time of death.
