Floyd “Money” Mayweather finally responded to 50 Cent’s challenge, by literally showing the “Candy Shop” rapper the money.
Earlier this week, the rapper put a twist on the Ice Bucket Challenge when he nominated Mayweather. Instead of daring the champion fighter to dump a bucket of ice water over his head or pay up to the ALS Association, the rapper dared Mayweather to read a page out of a Harry Potter book without “starting and stopping or f**ing up,” as we previously reported.
Opting out of that challenge, Mayweather took to his social media page and posted a picture of two checks, totaling $72,276,000. "Read this. God bless," Mayweather wrote as the caption.

In response to Mayweather’s photo, 50 Cent replied with the tweet, “I guess you want people to see your math is better then your reading." He added, "You put up a check. That must be for a blogger. You know I got money," E! News reports.

The former friends have been at each others' throats in the media for the better part of summer. The feuding began after Mayweather's former fiancé began dating rapper Nelly, a friend of both Mayweather and 50 Cent. Naturally, lines were drawn and the fighter ended up on opposite sides of the rappers.
