Giovanni Ribisi, Ty Simpkins and more join 'Meadowland'

Giovanni Ribisi, Ty Simpkins, Kid Cudi, Kevin Corrigan, Mark Feuerstein and Juno Temple have joined the cast of Reed Morano’s debut film, the psychological thriller Meadowland.

Luke Wilson and Olivia Wilde are set to star, while Elizabeth Moss and Natasha Lyonne have also been cast. Morano will be directing from a script by first-time screenwriter Chris Rossi. Wilde will also be producing, along with Matt Tauber, Aaron L. Tilbert and Margot Hand.

According to Variety, the plot focuses on a couple dealing with the disappearance of their son. Luke Wilson plays the father, who begins to heal while simultaneously losing his morals. Opposite him is Olivia Wilde as the mother, whose unexpected route to recovery places her in dangerous situations.

Director Morano is an acclaimed cinematographer. The Wrap noted that some of her credits include Frozen River, Kill Your Darlings and the HBO series Looking.

The principal photography began on Monday. Bron Studios is producing in association with Creative Wealth Media.
