It’s been quite a summer for the rapper, coming off two hit singles and a MTV VMA win for her feature on Ariana Grande’s "Problem." Newcomer Iggy Azalea just announced that she would be working with Steve Madden on a shoe line.
The Australian rapper and the famed shoe designer will unveil the line in February of next year, with no word yet on what the designs will look like.
Page Six reports that the footwear line will be a good fit for the rapper, as her quick rise to fame in the music industry has put her on the map in the fashion world.
This isn’t the first celebrity collaboration for the shoe designer. Madden has most recently worked with singer Keyshia Cole on a footwear line and the singer also served as the face of Madden’s spring campaign.
This also isn’t even the first collaboration between the shoe mogul and “Fancy” rapper, as the two previously worked together for a series of concerts that took place in Brooklyn earlier this year, The Daily Mail reports. The rapper could be seen wearing some the designer’s shoes during her concerts.
Now fans have more than just Azalea’s music to look forward to in the coming months.
