Miley Cyrus getting own comic book

By Kyle Johnson,

A comic book due out this week called Fame: Miley Cyrus chronicles part of the life of pop star Miley Cyrus.

The book is part of Bluewater Productions' comic book series Fame and was drawn by Juan Luis Rincon and written by Michael L. Frizell, MTV News reports, which has a few pages for those interested to take a look.

The comic will begin in an unsurprising place, her 2013 MTV Video Music Awards performance with Robin Thicke. It will also retrace her early life in Tennessee and according to the pages on MTV, she will somehow go into the past and talk to herself, or something.

"I wanted to do something different with this story," Frizell said in a statement, thus she will "confront her childhood and perhaps coax us to understand the reasoning behind her artistic choices."

Frizell added, "Miley is tabloid fodder, but why? Many childhood stars have remade themselves. Sadly, many female artists tend to go the 'sex kitten' rout to prove they're adults and worthy of a legit career. All musicians need to remake themselves to stay relevant."

Cyrus is an interesting one and her choices often seem odd, such as the recent decision to adopt a piglet, which she decided to name Bubba Sue. The piglet joins her family, which also includes a dog named Emu.

Fame: Miley Cyrus will set you back $3.99 or $9.99 for the special edition and can be purchased both in print and digitally.
