The Orange Is The New Black star won her first Emmy for her breakout role as Suzanne “Crazy Eyes” Warren in the critically acclaimed Netflix series.

Aduba beat out five other actresses in the outstanding guest actress in a comedy category, including her Orange Is The New Black co-stars to take home the award during the festivities Saturday night.

Veteran actor Morgan Freeman presented Aduba with the award, and during her speech she expressed her gratitude for being a part of the hit show. “I don’t know how to say how incredibly impressed I am to be a part of this show day in, day out,” said Aduba, The Hollywood Reporter reports.

Aduba also gave a touching nod to her mother for moving from Nigeria “to make life better for her family” along with thanking producers and fans of the show, Yahoo! News reports.

The show cleaned up with three Emmys Saturday night. Besides Aduba’s win, the show also won for casting and picture editing. The Netflix series is going into Monday’s Primetime Emmy Awards with nine nominations including one for its star, Taylor Schilling.

Season two of Orange Is The New Black is available on Netflix now.
