Selena Gomez has something to celebrate! The 21-year-old actress and pop star will be honored with the Teen Choice Awards' Ultimate Choice Award, Sunday during the televised ceremony.
According to E! News, Gomez will be honored for her contributions to the entertainment industry. This award has previously been given to acts such as Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Ashton Kutcher and Sarah Michelle Gellar. E! News also revealed in their exclusive report that Jennifer Lopez has been added onto the show as a presenter.
The honor couldn't come at a more opportune time as this hasn't quite been Selena's week. Last Sunday, she was involved in a car accident while leaving a 7/11 that is reported to have been caused by paparazzi who were trying to photograph her. As we reported earlier, Gomez gave her information to the couple in the other car along with a package at Burke Williams. She also paused to tweet about the incident.
Only I'd get into an accident because of men with cameras who have great careers and offer the couple a package at Burke Williams. Oh LA.
