Taylor Swift has dropped a new single announced the name of her new album as 1989.
The pop singer has been having a full past few weeks; she was recently on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, she will be performing at the MTV Video Music Awards, and on Monday she hosted a livestream on Yahoo where she revealed her new album and latest single "Shake it Off."
Her inspiration from the song comes from the fact that people are going to say what they want about you and there is no way to change that except how you react to it, reports E! Online.
She also unveiled her latest album, which was inspired by the '80s and is named after her birth year 1989. Swift claims this is a new sound for her and said, “We've made my favorite album I've ever made.” Swift has been working on this project for two years.
Fans can pre-order the album now and find it in stores Oct. 27.
