Taylor Swift can add one more job to her list; the singer has reportedly joined cast of The Voice as an adviser to the contestants.
Swift will join the show, appearing alongside longtime coaches Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and newcomers Pharrell and Gwen Stefani. The “Shake It Off” singer will be coaching alongside Alicia Keys, Stevie Nicks, Little Big Town and Gavin Rossdale.
She will be taking the place of Chris Martin, who is departing the show according to Yahoo's Reality Rocks.
Swift has appeared as a performer on the hit reality show during its fourth season and a source tells Us Weekly, "Taylor was an absolute pleasure to work with," adding that "she had great feedback for all the contestants. She made for an amazing mentor."
Swift’s addition to the show couldn’t come at a better time for the singer, who just came off a great performance at the VMAs, her fifth album titled 1989 is slated for release in October and she released the first single and video for “Shake It Off,” arguably the singers first pure pop song.
Season seven of The Voice premieres Sept. 22 on NBC.
