Looks like it isn’t the end of Kate plus 8 after all.
TLC has reportedly ordered more hours of Kate and her children to be aired in December specials, three years after pulling the original series off the air, the Hollywood Reporter confirmed exclusively.
The family returned to TV with a one-hour TLC special back in June and drew in a total of 2.1 million viewers when it premiered. It is not immediately clear just how much more of Kate and the family we will be forced to endure, but the network has confirmed that there are multiple specials in the works.
So what exactly will these specials be about? According to E! News, TLC will be following Kate, her sixtuplets, Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah and Joel, along with her 13-year-old twins, Cara and Mady on a family vacation to Boston and other parts of New England.
Although John Gosselin is still against his children being on television, Kate has said that her children actually enjoy filming their lives for TV.
