#Celebrity faux pas: deleted tweets

Twitter is the world's most popular Social Network after Facebook: all of us love to share our thoughts, feelings of the moment through twitter. While we only get 140 characters to express ourselves, despite this limit we can say a lot of things, even regrettable things.

Celebrities also love Twitter which they use as both a way to be closer to their fans and to complain; very often stars are taken by the impulse of tweeting and let slip the wrong words. Fortunately Twitter allows us to delete posts and no trace remains. Unfortunately, celebrities are always in the eye of the storm and cannot fully deploy this function because too many followers are reading their tweets, leading to the regrettable tweets becoming unforgettable tweets.

Indeed, the more a tweet wants to be kept secret the more it spreads. Let’s enjoy some celebrities’ pitfalls that make us more aware of their characters.

@AshtonKutcher Kutcher misinformation
Ashton Kutcher deliberately criticized the decision to remove Joe Paterno from his post, who was a football coach at Penn State University. So far so good, the problem was that Jo Pa was accused of knowing of sexual abuse of young boys but not coming forward with the information. After the dramatic tweet Kutcher admitted that he did not know the reason why his favourite coach was fired: Ashton you are a star, you should read better the news before typing!

@bowwow614 is dangerous
"I'm fucked up! Ohhh damn. Y i drive the lambo. Chris might have to drive after next spot"
Prince Bow admitted through a tweet that he was driving a Lamborghini (Lambo) under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Then, he regretted the confession and deleted it because he risked arrest. Chris Brown is not a good example to follow and we hope we don't meet him while he’s dangerous.

@ OfficialJaden spontaneous
“If Everybody In The World Dropped Out Of School We Would Have A Much More Intelligent Society” is the tweet
Jaden Smith wrote. While we do not know why, we are still curious; was his father (Will Smith) forcing him to delete the tweet?

@kanyewest angry
"JIMMY KIMMEL PUT YOURSELF IN MY SHOES … OH NO THAT MEANS YOU WOULD HAVE GOTTEN TOO MUCH GOOD P***Y IN YOUR LIFE… "
Kanye West wrote this tweet because a Jimmy Kimmel sketch. if this is the reaction for a parody sketch, what happens when if he gets angry for something more serious? In addition, this is just one of the memorable Kanye West deleted tweets, as he seems to regret numerous tweets.

@courtney delicacy
“know umm next time you sing it, think about my vagina will you? lol xc "
The reaction of Courtney Love is comparable to the polite response of a princess. Dear Courtney remember you are a lady, sometimes a bit of delicacy is due.

Deleted tweets seem to be more persistent than undeleted ones, so we have some advice to celebrity Twitter addicts: if you commit a Twitter mistake, let it go, do not remove your message, otherwise you risk a worse the effect.
