Nick Cannon has made it clear that there will be no negative lyrics about his estranged wife, Mariah Carey, on his upcoming album.
Following rumors he might badmouth her on his follow-up to White People Party Music, he went on a Twitter tirade to call those reporting the falsities “bottom feeders.”
“I will never say anything negative about @MariahCarey We are forever a family rooted in love,” he wrote. They share twins, Moroccan and Monroe, and split in August.
He continued, “I am always an open book but Personal matters are just that ‘Personal.’ So please respect my family and respect the process. In other words, all you vultures and bottom feeders searching for a story can go #ChokeYourself #Ncredible.”
Cannon went on to write he hopes these rumors won’t keep coming up as we enter 2015.
The reason this round of rumors came about is because of Cannon’s producer, Mally Mall, who told paparazzi as he was leaving LAX that he’s been working on new music in the studio.
“He’s talking about Mariah on the record, it’s gonna be a lot of controversy,” he said.

I have no problem being painted as the bad guy. I got tough skin. Keep going! I just pray we ALL can move forward in the new year.
