Bruno Mars says teacher's awesome 'Uptown Funk' video made him cry

Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars have provided the Internet with another hit that we can’t stop dancing to and one high school teacher took it to another level. The video the teacher made has gone viral and even Mars has taken notice.

As previously reported, Scot Pankey, a theater arts teacher at A. Maceo Smith New Tech High School in Dallas choreographed an intricate dance for his students. In one take, he danced across the school, with his classes backing him up.

By last night, it passed 880,000 views. This morning, the video is already past 3.17 million views and over 20,000 likes.

The video is going to get even more notice now that Mars has posted it on his Facebook page. “I cried at the end. Im still a thug though. Thank you to everyone involved in making this video,” Mars wrote.

Ronson hasn’t commented on it yet, but he did retweet a hilarious dub video that has President Barack Obama singing the song.
