Hayley Williams says tour has helped motivate Paramore

The band has a lot to celebrate, they have won a Grammy Award for Best Rock Song and debuted their latest release at number one on the charts. Despite all of their success, the band has experienced a few line up changes and now they are ready to move forward and focuses on their future.

During a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Williams explained that this tour feels like a victory lap. "We never in a million years thought we would win a Grammy, or any of the other crazy things that happened along the way. So we're thinking of each show as an event, as a way to celebrate our relationship with fans, to celebrate the album and to celebrate the past two years of this band," said Williams.

Williams also explained why this tour has been more intimate and a return to their roots. This tour is taking place in smaller venues that have more of a small theater atmosphere. Williams explained that this was a return to their start in the industry. "So it's sort of our way of digging back into that, hoping that our fans new and old will want to go back with us."
