24 Movie, Season 7 News
All right 24 fans. It's been more than one year since the show has been on, and quite a while since TheCelebrityCafe.com has updated the show's status. So here we go.
In the attempt to make up for the delay to the show's fans, Fox will air a two hour 24 movie that will debut on Nov. 23.
The movie will act as a prequel to Season 7, and will reportedly show Jack Bauer (played by Kiefer Sutherland) dealing (violently) with an international crisis while the new president of the United States, Allison Taylor (Cherry Jones), is being inaugurated in Washington D.C. The film will be shot in South Africa.
It is still unclear whether the movie will be in "real time," but Season 7 will follow the format familiar to the show's fans.
When Season 7 premieres, CTU will be gone and Bauer will be in D.C., on trial for several crimes he allegedly committed while fighting terrorists in Africa.
The cast for the seventh season are familiar faces Mary Lynn Rajskub (Chloe), Carlos Bernard (Tony Almeida) and James Morisson (Bill Buchanan). New to the show will be Bauer's new coworkers, played by Janeane Garofalo and Rhys Coiro.
