30 Rock Breaks Emmy Nomination Records

Tina Fey's television comedy, "30 Rock," received an astounding 22 Emmy nominations, the most ever for a comedy show. The nominations include Best Comedy Series, Alec Baldwin for Best Comedy Actor, and Tina Fey for Best Comedy Actress. The Best Comedy Series category includes "Family Guy," "Entourage," "Weeds," "Flight of the Conchords," "The Office," and "How I Met Your Mother." Taking home the Best Comedy Series Emmy last year, "30 Rock" is no stranger to the awards competition.

Fey will have to compete with Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Christina Applegate, Sarah Silverman, Toni Collette, and Mary-Louise Parker. Baldwin will be competing with Tony Shaloub, Jim Parsons, Jermaine Clement, Steve Carrell, and Charlie Sheen.
