50 Cent's Bodyguard Arrested for Attacking Paparazzi
Rapper 50 Cent hoped to spend his weekend in Copenhagen, Denmark peacefully. Too bad it didn’t happen that way.
While Danish paparazzi were waiting outside a hotel for 50 to come out, his bodyguard didn’t want them to take pictures of his boss.
After telling the photographers to leave and they didn’t, he decided to get violent and attacked them. He then broke into two of the photographers' cars after chasing them down the street, stole and broke their cameras, and attempted to beat them again.
Everything was caught on tape.
Shortly after, the bodyguard was arrested for assault and theft. One of the attacked victims, Nikoloj Vraar, told the press Saturday: “I feared for my life. One of 50 Cent’s bodyguards came out and told us to leave. The next thing I knew, he grabs my throat and tried to strangle me. He cut off my airway, and I couldn’t breathe,” he added. “He took my camera and deleted photos.”
“The bodyguard was arrested,” said Vraar, who is editor-in-chief for MSN Star Lounge.
He was taken to Copenhagen hospital to be checked out by doctors and said his next stop would be the police precinct.
“I will be going straight to the police station and complete whatever paperwork is necessary.”
Shortly before the attack, the bodyguard said to the paparazzi, “Danish law doesn't apply to us here because we are Americans.”
