90210 Baby Daddy Drama Revealed

Nearly a decade after the popular series, Beverly Hills, 90210 ended, its spin-off, 90210, has revealed the fate of Kelly Taylor and Dylan McKay: They have a four-year-old son.

Kelly, played by Jennie Garth, was shown in earlier episodes of the spin-off with a son, though producers remained tight-lipped on the subject of the baby's father. The mystery was revealed Tuesday night as an argument between Kelly and Brenda Walsh, played by Shannen Doherty, led to Kelly revealing the father's identity.

Garth told People magazine that Dylan and Kelly were destined to end up together.

"(The producers) settled on Dylan because Kelly and Dylan had such a passionate relationship in the past. Their relationship was so heated. It was kind of undeniable," she said.

Garth said she was not sure if Dylan, played by Luke Perry, was ultimately going to be the father or if the role would be given to Brandon Walsh, played by Jason Priestley.

"I didn't even know for the first three or four episodes who the father was. And then I read it in the script, and I was like, 'Oh, OK. I guess Dylan's the dad. Great!'" Garth said. "It made sense to me because like I said, Kelly and Dylan ultimately do belong together. They have a fiery thing."

Though Dylan has been named the father, Perry has not signed on to appear in the 90210 spin-off.
