A representative for former Dancing with the Stars contestant Aaron Carter has come forward to deny allegations that the singer accused the late Michael Jackson of giving him cocaine and alcohol at Neverland Ranch when he was 15.
Daphne Barak, an international interviewer for OK! Magazine in Australia, wrote an article in which Carter was quoted as saying, “Yes, he gave me wine. He gave me cocaine. I admired Michael, but his behavior bothered me a lot. Then my mother called the police.”
The younger brother of Backstreet Boys member Nick Carter reportedly added, “I never talked about it...this is the first time. I miss Michael. I have spent such incredible times with him. I did things with him that nobody else did. But I was also troubled about what he did to me.”
Carter’s alleged claims that he was introduced to drug use and underage drinking by Jackson sparked a firestorm of controversy. But a representative for the singer told TMZ on Friday, “Nothing was said that was reported.”
The rep added that a YouTube video of Barak’s interview with Carter supports his version of events. The interviewer has yet to respond to media requests for comment.
