Actor Francesco Quinn, son of Anthony Quinn, died this weekend in Malibu while jogging alongside his son, Max. He was 48 years old.
Quinn was going for a run with his son when he suddenly collapsed. His wife ran to his side, where he died in her arms at around 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The actor was on his way home from a store that was located down the hill from his house.
Neighbors and paramedics tried to revive Quinn, but were unsuccessful. He was brought to the Santa Monica-UCLA Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.
Quinn was best known for his role as Rhah, in the Oliver Stone movie, Platoon. He was also a regular on TV shows such as ER, 24, and NCIS.
Quinn's father, Anthony Quinn, was another famous actor who was most known for his roles in Zorba the Greek and Lawrence of Arabia.
