Actress Kristy Swanson Arrested

Kristy Swanson, an actress best known for roles in "Ferris Bueller's Day Off" and "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" (film version), was arrested in Kingston, Ontario on Saturday reports Associated Press sources. Swanson's troubles began when the ex-wife of the actress's once-skating partner and now-companion Lloyd Eisler filed a complaint against the star. Swanson had to turn herself in to the police on Saturday to "begin the process of being arrested," as the actress put it in People Magazine.

Swanson, 37, also pressed charges against Maria O'Brien in return for the scuffle. Pictures were taken of bruising on Swanson's back, among other body parts, by police to record the damage the actress claims she sustained in the fight.

Swanson and 44-year-old Eisler were in Ontario to discuss custody details with O'Brien. Associated Press sources report that Eisler left his wife for the actress in 2006 after the two met on the set of FOX's reality series, "Skating with Celebrities."
