Actress Lori Petty Arrested for DUI
Actress Lori Petty, 45, was arrested and held in Van Nuys jail for suspicion of drunk driving on Saturday, reported LATimes.com.
According to LATimes.com, Petty was driving in Venice, California Saturday night when she allegedly hit a man on a skateboard. The skateboarder, whose identity has not been disclosed, was treated for minor injuries on the scene and released.
According to TMZ.com, Petty was not taken to the hospital either.
The incident occurred around 9 p.m. and Petty was put in jail four hours later at 1:21 a.m. on Sunday, TMZ reported.
Petty is best known for her role in the 1991 film "Point Break," in which she played Keanu Reeves' girlfriend. The actress also appeared in the 1992 film "A League of Their Own," 1995 film "Tank Girl" and "The Glass Shield" in 1995, in which she played the role of an L.A. County sheriff's deputy.
According to TMZ.com, the actress was released on $100,000 bail.
