Actress Mena Suvari Gets Hitched

American Beauty actress Mena Suvari is officially off the market, as of Saturday. The star and her fiancé, concert producer Simone Sestito, finally tied the knot after a two-year long engagement.

Suvari, 31, and Sestito, 35, were wed at a private church in Vatican City, Italy, on Saturday, People reports.

The reception, which was also private, took place somewhere outside of the city.

One guest at the nuptials said that "the ceremony was truly unique and Mena looked breathtaking.”

The couple met back in 2007 at the Toronto Film Festival before getting engaged the following year.

"We just understood each other," Sestito is quoted as saying back in 2008. “There was a connection.” It looks like the spark must still be burning.

The reason the couple chose to get married in Italy is because the majority of Sestito’s family lives close to Vatican City.
