Adam Lambert Had a Crush on Kris Allen

The "Idol" runner-up admitted it in Rolling Stone magazine.

Adam Lambert, who lost to Kris Allen in a stunning upset in the eight season of "American Idol," recently admitted to Rolling Stone magazine that he had a crush on Allen. "I was like, 'Oh, sh--, they put me with the cute guy,'" Lambert admitted.

"Distracting! He's the one guy I found attractive in the whole group on the show: nice, nonchalant, pretty and totally my type — except that he has a wife. I mean, he's open-minded and liberal, but he's definitely 100 percent straight."

Allen reacted to Lambert's admission, and told People magazine that he was flattered. "And think it's hilarious," he said.

Lambert was recently on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine, where he publicly acknowledged his sexuality and came out as a homosexual man, putting all speculation about his sexuality in the media to rest.

Allen and Lambert are reportedly good friends, and they will join the other eight finalists from this season of "American Idol" for a 52-day tour that will start on July 5 in Portland, Ore.
