Adam Sandler suggests a wife swap with Tom Cruise

It seems as if Adam Sandler has become smitten with his new co-star.

When on The Late Show this Wednesday, Sandler joked with David Letterman about how Tom Cruise and him saw eye-to-eye with Sandler playing his wife, Katie Holmes', husband.

According to Yahoo! OMG!, the agreement was anything Sandler did with Holmes, Cruise could do with his wife!

Of course the star was kidding, but he did recall Tom Cruise saying, “This is weird that my wife is going to be your wife.”

Witty Sandler responded to that comment with, “It’s a PG movie, no worries, nothing is going to happen in fact, anything I do with your wife in the movie you can do with my wife. So every morning I’d go to set and hear ‘please do a love scene. Please slowly take your shirt off in that scene and rub her ever so tenderly.”

According to Us Magazine, Sandler’s wife has a good sense of humor, which would be a basic necessity with this man as your husband.
